Been a bit

God, it's been forever.
The short story i wrote recently felt weighted and arduous. I have got to start forcing myself to write more. But it seems like, with a son, there are only so many hours in my day to focus. I spend my time withering my brain at the end of the day because i just don't want to think for the rest of the day. It's tortuous knowing that i could be a great writer, but not having the ambition or motivation to do anything with it. Not complaining, though. It's nice to pick it back up once in a while, but the unfinished novel is pissing me off and I'm sure its pissing you off too.
Regardless. Kiddo is getting older, fast, and it's warming to see him starting to pick up so many things. Fatherly instincts engage. Gotta teach him football and go rake some leaves or shit.
Other than that, not much issues here. Looking for a new Job, this one is most likely not going to hire me full time, but when you are 3 months over for your evaluation for switching to full employment, im not holding my breath.
Playing games, planning RPG sessions, Trying to raise the kiddo, all the norm.

If I were a planet I would be: Uranus...hurhurhur. Really, I like Mercury. The one braving the sun.
If I were a animal I would be: A Husky.
If I were a direction I would be: East.... i think?
If I were a piece of furniture I would be: A bookshelf. That way i could always keep my reading trophies close.
If I were a historical figure I would be: Teddy Roosevelt.
If I were a liquid I would be: Coffee
If I were a tree I would be: A redwood. Heh. I said wood.
If I were a flower/plant I would be: A rose. I love roses.
If I were a kind of weather I would be: Thundersnow.
If I were a musical instrument I would be: French Horn. Always loud and noticable.
If I were an emotion I would be: Passion.
If I were a colour I would be: Red
If I were a vegetable I would be: A cucumber ;>
If I were a sound I would be: A dubstep bass drop.
If I were an element I would be: Earth, metal more specifically.

Fucking did it.
I can't believe it. I really can't. I haven't sat down like that and forced myself to finish something like this type of scale for a long time.

Last few chapters i need to write yet, but my main challenge has been completed. Now comes the task of editing and revising. Hopefully, i'll be an author soon!

Time to Grind, baby.

So, i'm sitting pretty at 31k words. Which is awesome!
However, i need to be at 38k... :/ It's okay though, i got the next two days off and i fully plan on getting the next few chapters knocked out.
But, i left my thumb drive at home, so the chapter posting in on hold until i get back to work on Sunday night. Expect them!!
I need some help from you guys though, my watchers. I need support to cross this finish line. Drop me a line, give me some kind words, that kinda stuff. I am also taking work count goal prizes too, maybe a piece of artwork, maybe a mention on your journal, but i would like some peeps to step up and let me know that someone is reading this.
